This suede camel colored fringe skirt from Intermix is not your run of the mill fringe. I like the asymmetrical design and it fits like a glove. So chic and makes quite the statement all by itself.
These suede and leather thigh-high Isabel Marant boots are borderline obnoxious and that’s exactly why I pulled the trigger and bought them. They scream Kate Moss to me. The heel is perfect for New York - not too skinny - and the versatility will be valuable. I will wear with jeans, shorts, and mini dresses.
These Stella McCartney bell bottoms are the perfect shade of blue and the most comfortable stretch. The ease of these will come in handy on those 12 hour days chock full of shows and shoots. I especially love the Elizabeth & Jamescrop fringe top with them. (Honestly, still searching for the perfect pair of platform shoes to finish the look - HELP!)
I adore this silk floral romper from TopShop. It’s several seasons old but we found it at Ruby, which is an amazing place in LA that rents pieces. You can find the most incredible things here; case in point, the vintageVersace belt. I like the idea of pairing it with my super glam YSL bag with gold chain. So seventies - my favorite decade.
The idea isn’t to blend in at FW, obvi, so these powder blue Nour Jensen heels jumped out at me. The Jimmy Choo black booties were another investment, but also a timeless one. Again, comfort is key at NYFW, and these sturdy heels will carry me through the cobble stone streets in the Meatpacking District like a champ. In addition to my iPhone, I always pack a polaroid camera. This will make for some nice snaps for my Insta and also my blog.
