I believe that we are all our most beautiful when we are living our best self. To me, that means a lot of things. Living with integrity, conquering fear, practicing gratitude. It also means being kind to our bodies – choosing to eat a clean diet and breaking a sweat on the regular. In my experience, it also means feeding our mind and soul with thoughtful affirmations. I have all of these books in rotation on my nightstand. Some I read more than others, but these are the ones I seem to come back to again and again.
I dropped off my son Austin and his friends at school this morning and I said, “Are you guys prepared for all of the amazing things that are going to come your way today?” One kid said, “Oh yea, like my Biology test?” I said, “Yep, that too. You’re going to kill it. Expect to. Plan on it. There’s power in declaring it so!” The group laughed and off they went. Usually I don’t say a lot during the car ride because I don’t want to embarrass Austin and be THAT MOM, but I can’t help it. They have their whole lives ahead of them. Our mindset, our choice to create our attitude regardless of the weather.
This awareness and consistent practice has served me well my entire life. Abundance has come in ways I never dreamed imaginable and I know a lot of it has to do with my thoughts.
Be well and Happy Reading!
